  • Phnom Penh, Cambodia

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Sua s'dei! Welcome to Cambodia. (IATA airport code: PNH)

    Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, you will be welcomed by English speaking guide who will escort you directly to hotel for relaxing.  Note: Official check-in time at 14:00 early check-in subject to room available. 

    The balance morning or early afternoon is free at leisure. 

    Late-afternoon, first head, you will visit Royal Palace built in 1866, being as the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

    Wander in front of the Palace for some local food, then, you will be ready to visit the microbrewery at Himawari. Made from the finest malt and hops, the beers crafted here are unique in flavor so you can taste newly produced beer. You can order your favorite beer with your own account.

    Tonight, your welcome dinner will be served at Aura Phnom Penh, which is causal rooftop restaurant, a stylish venue, offering a blend of modern dining and vibrant nightlife that you will enjoy during your meal.

  • Phnom Penh

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    After breakfast, you will discover Cambodia’s dark history. First visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. 

    You may spend time for go shopping at Russian market or Jaya Café Gallery?

    Then drive to the outskirts for a visit Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the dark period. A grim visit, but it’s an important site that will allow you to gain insight.

    Lunch is on your own account. 

    Early afternoon is free at leisure, or you may visit National Museum?   (Entrance fee and onside guide is on customer account, let your guide facilitate).

    Late-afternoon, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you from your hotel by Cyclo for a fun tour of the most significant sights of the city. Three-wheeler were introduced to Phnom Penh streets in 1936. Its drivers are happy to bring you around for a new experience. 

    Also stop at Central Market to browse some souvenirs and taste some local foods.

    Ride along the river line towards former French Quarter which evident in the colonial shop-house lining the boulevards, Belle Époque and Art Deco houses, with the occasional public building. The Quarter lies near Wat Phnom-the birthplace of Phnom Penh on the hill of the city where you will also visit.  Inside the temple, you will experience the Chakkumpi "Khmer fortune teller" manuscript on palm-leaf performed by selecting passages of hazard or luck and drawing from them indications concerning future events—an authentic experience with Khmer belief.

    You are ready to get on a private wooden boat that will await you in a cozy atmospheric view for sunset cruise on the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers and watch how Phnom Penh’s popular riverfront comes to life in the early evening, with snacks, local beers and soft drinks for your degustation on board.

    Tonight, you may walk through Bassac Lane, a welcoming ambiance for visitors, live music, and bands that feature a collection of small, stylish bars, restaurants, street food vendors of pizza and other foods that you should not miss out? (Any consumption is on your own account.)

  • Phnom Penh – Battambang

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Early breakfast and ready to drive through the countryside to Battambang (291 Km, approx. 5:30 hour drive).   En-route, you will stop at Cambodia’s former capital, Oudong. The ride passes rural villages, local pagodas, and scenic rice paddies before reaching the main hill. Later on, climb to the top of the stupa-filled hill of Oudong for great views over the rural plains. 

    Then you are ready to have an early picnic lunch at the cottage at the foothill which is popular with the local people during holiday. Would you like to taste roasted bees and stuffed frogs and other authentic food? You should try here; your guide will prepare extra food on your menu.   

    Continue to Battambang and upon arrival directly to hotel for check-in for relaxing. 

    Would you like to experience Bamboo Train? Now, you enjoy a fun journey on Bamboo Train through the beautiful landscape of rice fields and rural villages. To experience a bumpy ride on the train so-called "Lorry", it is the world's unique one. The ride is a true experience and joy in the countryside! (Let your guide facilitate, riding fee is on your account)

    Late afternoon, a short transfer to Phnom Sampeou meaning 'Ship mountain' is a natural site. Walking up reaching atop a 100-meter-high mountain offers you the best overview, if you wish. You get ready for a fabulous show of nature: Millions of bats will exit the caves - for 15-20 minutes straight - and fly like flocks of birds to feed on insects in the surrounding countryside. Enjoy with sunset view from the foothill with a soft drink during wonderful moment.  

    Tonight, you will join a home-cooked meal, tasting local dishes such as amok, Khmer curry, and fried spicy chicken, not only the tasty food but also a delightful opportunity to get a "taste" of Cambodian family life.

  • Battambang – Siem Reap

    If you are interested, you will have easy walking tour to discover Battambang’s creative spirit on a guided walk through its colorful street art scene. Hidden alleyways and riverside walls showcase murals inspired by Khmer culture, rural life, and contemporary social themes. Learn about the city’s artistic movement and gain insight into how modern Cambodian artists express identity and change through public art.

    You will take Remork motor so-called “tuk tuk” riding amongst the countryside where you are impressed by the genuine look into local ways of the traditional livelihoods, where you can witness the villager produce the products that you can also taste-the perfect way to get insight into Cambodians lives and soak up a fun experience overall! The tour also includes the Well of Shadows” which located at Wat Somrong Knong – Killing Fields. 

    Heading back hotel for short relaxing before checking-out. 

    Lunch is on your own account, may you have at Jaan Bai, meaning ‘rice bowl’? The restaurant is a social enterprise providing skills and employment for young people of families who live in poverty.

    Option to stop and visit Phare Art School, or Battambang Museum, entrance are on your own account.

    Now, you will be travelling to Siem Reap (172 km, approximately 3:00 hour drive). Upon arrival, directly to hotel for check in. The rest of balance morning is free at leisure.    

    The small but expanding town of Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. This is the most popular destination for travelers in all of Cambodia, perhaps even in South-East Asia.

  • Siem Reap

    After breakfast at hotel, you head out from Siem Reap about 1:00 hour drive, passing along the local village where you can see how rural life is. 

    Along paddy fields and sugar palm trees of the countryside, you will have a fabulous experience riding on an ox-cart, a great opportunity to get an insight into village life in Cambodia by a traditional transportation. This is a really fun and engaging adventure that allows you to stay in touch with the authentic local people.

    Upon arrival at the lake inlet, get on a private wooden boat from Kampong Phluk’s pier to visit the floating village on Tonle Sap lake.  On board a cruise slowly through the canal of the village, you will be thrilled at the scenic beauty of a unique and authentic Cambodian village on the lake. A short stop and ride on a rowboat through an impressive flooded forest where you can enjoy paddling beneath shady trees makes you feel breathtaking with its romantic atmosphere. (Note: Kampong Phluk may fully flood between Sep-Nov alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead during low water level.)

    Early evening, the time for an epic local food adventure in Siem Reap evening starts off with a ride on a motor-remork (Cambodia tuk tuk) by the lady driver. It is the easiest and fun way to look around you on board, aside from supporting women. 

    We will zip you through the streets, off the tourist trail and straight into local street heaven. Your food-loving local guide will uncover hidden local street food treasures and beloved recommendations of local snacks, or Khmer rice cake that you will be able to taste with different more foods. Our food mission also continues with a tasting of seasonal fruits that are grown around, next stop is a local restaurant to sample some tasty local delicacies dinner, before finishing at a dessert stall where fruit shakes.

    After dinner, you will have the option to return to your hotel or end our Siem Reap food tour at Pub Street – a convenient spot¬ that’s perfect for exploring local bar and café life. Alternatively, our local guide will be happy to provide some less touristy recommendations for a great night out.

  • Siem Reap

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    8:00am, this morning you will experience a home-cook with family in the countryside where you will have opportunity to see the authentic life. First, you will visit the local market to buy some ingredients and herps, vegetables for your cook.  Next, you will join the pretty traditional wooden house of this nice Cambodian family to get into the kitchen and learn to prepare typical dishes every day. 

    Then, accompanied by your hosts, you will go to the pagoda to offer part of your culinary preparations. You will have the opportunity to live the unique experience of learning more about the life of a Monk and Theravada Buddhism and a way of life that most people incorporate into their daily life. You will get to meet the Monks, experience a sacred water blessing for good luck and prosperity - a very special experience during your travels. 

    Back and ready for your lunch that you cooked.

    Head back to hotel for relaxing in the whole afternoon. 

    The balanced afternoon, if you want to visit Apopo HeroRats, or Angkor National Museum, just let your guide facilitate, entrance is your own account.  

    Or you may enjoy city tour of visiting Wat Bo Pagoda, Artisan d’Angkor and Angkor Silk Farm, no extra charge. 

    Dinner is on your own account, you may have dinner at open-air Phare Café restaurant.

    This evening, you will be entertained with a special performance of the circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak. It is an NGO that has improved the lives of children and young adults. Inside the campus, you will enjoy a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic young performer. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 pm.)

  • Siem Reap

    Early get up for eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see sunlight raying clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple is stunning. Before jumping to the temple, take a short break at local vender shop where you will have a refreshment fruit including coffee, tea with the wonderful atmosphere in morning at the heritage site.   

    Angkor Wat was built in 1113-1150. The structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. It appears to have been both the state temple and mausoleum, dedicating to the god Vishnu, then for Buddhists. The temple is famous for bas-reliefs encircling the temple wall depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the historical wars of the King. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag. 

    Return hotel for breakfast and refreshment, and the rest of balance morning is free at leisure.  Or would you like to visit other temples at the complex? (No extra charge, just let your guide arrange)

    Afternoon, you explore beautiful temple of Ta Prohm. It is overgrown by massive roots of huge trees and vines making the temple unique and famous for. The temple was also where Angelina Jolie's movie Lara Croft the Tomb Raider was here because of its peaceful place with nature is taking it back-the most picturesque. 

    At Preah Dak market, you will stop and taste Nom Banh Chok “Cambodian noodle” is a unique Khmer dish, loved by locals and tourists alike. It consists of rice noodles topped with a green fish gravy and heaps of fresh green beans, bean sprouts, banana flower and other greens, do not forget green chili. 

    Also stop to see the village vendor stalls along the roadsides, you can taste palm wine and palm sugar chunks wrapped in palm leaves, and you may also try the fresh palm sugar syrup collected in bamboo.

    You visit Angkor Thom-the 'Great Royal City', a temple is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Of all the temples visited today, Bayon temple is the centerpiece, with over 200 smiling carved faces and more than 50 gothic towers. 

    After visiting these magnificent temples, tonight you will have a well-deserved dinner at local restaurant with a traditional Apsara and the traditional dance show which you will enjoy during your dinner.
