  • Arrival – Siem Reap, Cambodia

    Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport by flight, you will be welcomed by local English-speaking guide who will escort you directly to hotel for relaxing.  Note: Official check-in time at 2:00pm, early check-in subjects to room available. 

    Siem Reap is the gateway to the world’s most spectacular ancient temples dating from 8th-13th centuries with their countless sculptured decorations. 

    Afternoon, you take a shady walk along the tall tree-lined avenues and explore the beautiful Ta Prohm temple. The huge roots of giant trees and vines make this temple unique and famous. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider''.

    Continue to visit the last capital of the Khmer empire Angkor Thom is literally "Great City", It covers an area of about 10 km2 and is surrounded by an 8-meter-high wall, it was established in the early 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.  Enter the capital through South Gate-the ancient gateway that grabs you with its impressive sandstone carving of four gigantic smiling faces, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. 

    Tonight, after visiting these magnificent temples, tonight you will have a well-deserved dinner at local restaurant with a traditional Apsara and the traditional dance show which you will enjoy during your dining.

    Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see the sunlight rays clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple stunning. Then you will have a refreshing breakfast and coffee before jumping into the discovery of the temple during less visitors.

    Angkor Wat was built in 1113-1150 during the reign of King Suryavarman II. The structure occupies and enormous site of nearly 2 km2, said to be the one of the world’s largest religious monuments. It appears to have been both as the state temple and mausoleum, dedicating to the God Vishnu then has become an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. 

    Return to the hotel for relaxing and enjoying hotel amenities the rest of the morning.

    Afternoon, you visit a historical significance of Wat Bo pagoda is among the oldest Buddhist temples in Siem Reap. It played an essential role in Cambodia’s spiritual and cultural preservation. If you are lucky to see 19th-century frescoes depicting the Reamker (Khmer version of the Ramayana).

    Stop at Artisan d'Angkor, a complete site of the arts and crafts school will take you through the various training and production workshops. Discover the traditional techniques used for wood sculpting, stone carving, lacquer work, polychrome and stone patina work, with the explanations of a dedicated guide. 

    Do you want to visit Angkor Silk Farm center of Puok?  Where you will discover the various stages involved in Silk production, from mulberry tree orchards, to silkworm breeding, the spinning mill and the weaving process.

  • Siem Reap

    This morning, we drive passing along the local village where you can see how rural life is. Upon arriving at the lake inlet, then get on a private wooden boat from Kampong Phluk’s pier for visit the floating village on Tonle Sap lake. On board a cruise slowly through the canal of the village, you will be thrilled at the scenic beauty of a unique and authentic Cambodian village on the lake. A short stop and ride on a rowboat through an impressive, flooded forest where you can enjoy paddling beneath shady trees makes you feel breathtaking with its romantic atmosphere.  Note: Kampong Phluk may fully flood between Sep-Nov. Alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead during low water level.

    Head back to the hotel or stop at a local restaurant for your own lunch.

    Drive out of Siem Reap about 35km to the countryside to visit Banteay Srei temple, so-called "Citadel of the Women". It was built in 967, and the temple’s most intricate and deep carvings and architectural details in the unique pink-hued sandstone temple well-preserve the best of Khmer art.

    You may also stop visiting Pre Rup and other nearby temples. 

    Also stop to see the village vendor stalls along the roadsides where you can taste palm wine and palm sugar chunks wrapped in palm leaves, and you may also taste the fresh palm sugar including Khmer cake. (Note: It is seasonal local produce.)

    Early evening, you may have dinner with a lar cart menu at open-air Phare café restaurant that is on your own account. 

    Then, you will be entertained with a special performance of the Cambodian circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak, it is an NGO that has improved the lives of children, young adults, and their families with art schools, educational programs, and social support so far. Inside the campus, you will enjoy the rotation of a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic troupe of young performers. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 p.m.)
  • Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Early breakfast at hotel, depart from Siem Reap and travel through the Cambodian countryside towards Phnom Penh with driver only (315Km, approx. 5:30 hour drive). Stop en route for an optional visit to the Skuon market which is famous for its favorite snack of deep-fried spiders "tarantulas".

    Lunch is on your own account. 

    Phnom Penh was known as the "Pearl of Asia" and was considered one of the most beautiful cities built by the French during the colonial period in the region. 

    Afternoon, you will discover Cambodia’s dark history and horror of Phnom Penh’s past of its city. First head, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. 

    May you stop browsing through the colorful market at Russian Market for home souvenirs? 

    Then drive outskirts for a visit Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the dark period. 

    Tonight, you may walk through Bassac Lane, a welcoming ambiance for visitors, live music, and bands that feature a collection of small, stylish bars, restaurants, street food vendors of pizza and other foods that you should not miss out? (Any consumption is on your own account.)

  • Phnom Penh - Kampot

    This early morning, you will be overlanded through the countryside to Kampot, accompanied by your guide (151Km, approx. 3:00 hour drive). 

    A stop for a short walk-through rice fields and a climb provides a lovely outlook over the surrounding countryside. Then enter Phnom Chhnork limestone cave, home to a small 7th century temple.  From the bottom, a 203-step staircase leads up the hillside and down into a cavern as graceful. 

    Upon arrival at Kampot directly to hotel, you might choose to stroll by the river and observe the French colonial architecture or relax on the veranda of one of the riverside restaurants and admire the view of the Bokor mountains.

    Late afternoon, get on board a sharing boat cruising around two hours. Boat anchors and wait maybe for the sun to set over the mountains with a beautiful setting in the middle of the river, here you will enjoy a cool drink provided on board. On the way back, by the riverbank you might be lucky to see the fireflies in the bushes. 

    You may experience having dinner on boarding with a beautiful atmosphere, meal is on your own account.

  • Kampot - Kep

    Now, departure for Kep, it is seaside featuring the old buildings near the ocean front. The town was Cambodia's most popular and prestigious beach town from the early 1900s until the 1960s. 

    You will drive pass by the Secret Lake-an impressive size of dam built by man-made during the Khmer Rouge. Now, you are ready to get inside a family-owned pepper plantation to see the farming process and taste a raw peppercorn straight from the vine or drying-the different flavor of spicy. Because of its unique soil and weather makes the province pepper faming around the world!

    Upon arrival, go directly to the hotel or you enjoy a walk along the beach at Kep and explore the old buildings near the ocean front.  The balance day is free at leisure and enjoy with your hotel amenity and swimming pool. 

    Tonight, a tasty dinner of fresh seafood-crab, prawns or squid cooked up with Kampot green pepper corns that is famous for will be served to you with the wonderful atmosphere of seaside at the night.

  • Kep

    In the morning, you will take a short visit to the Crab market wandering through to see the local seafood industry in action. Small sellers & buyers store for the freshest seafood - crabs, fish, calamari and many interesting sites & smells here!

    Now, you will get on a boat for about 30 min drive to spend the morning at leisure exploring Rabbit island and relaxing on beautiful tropical beach, which is main beach about 600 meters long, and lined with coconut palms, hammocks and lazy chairs, a few dozen huts and a handful of fresh seafood joints serving up some outstanding seafood.  A fresh seafood lunch will be served at a local restaurant. 

    Mid-afternoon, return to Kep and then transfer to hotel for relaxing.

  • Kep - Phnom Penh

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Phnom Penh (154Km, approx. 3 hours’ drive), upon arrival drive to the hotel directly.

    Early afternoon, may you get inside for a visit National Museum? It is one of the world's largest collections of Khmer art, including sculptural, ceramics, bronze and wooden objects. If yes, let your guide coordinate, entrance fee is on customer’s account. 

    Mid-afternoon, you will visit Royal Palace built in 1866, being as the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

    You will be greeted by a driver who will pick you up from your hotel (or somewhere) by Cyclo for a fun tour of the most significant sights of the city. Three-wheeler cyclos were introduced to Phnom Penh streets in 1936. 

    At the end of your cyclo tour, you may walk along the Walk Street and grab some local foods (open every weekend). 

    Your dinner will be served at Aura Phnom Penh, which is causal rooftop restaurant, an elegant, refined sophistication providing a chic ambiance and live music that you will enjoy during your meal. 

  • Phnom Penh – Departure
