Our English-speaking local guide & vehicle will come close to the ship for greeting and pick you up for the tour today. You will enjoy a private tour of Sihanoukville city and beach, discovering the city’s culture, local life, and natural beauty.
First start at the historic Independence Monument, a meaningful landmark that commemorates Cambodia’s independence from French colonial rule in 1953. This elegant monument reflects classic Khmer architectural style and stands as a symbol of national pride and freedom. The site offers you a leisurely walk around and learning about its historical significance.
Next to visit the peaceful Wat Krom is a notable Buddhist pagoda on a hilltop with stunning views of the sea, also features a large reclining Buddha and other shrines. Beyond being a place of worship, it is a cultural landmark, drawing visitors with its peaceful atmosphere and architectural charm. Inside pagoda you will experience a blessing ceremony. The monk will pray, wishing you happiness, good luck, and prosperity—a truly memorable moment!
Discover the local coastal life at Tomnub Rolork – Koh Preap Pier, a lively waterfront area that reflects the everyday rhythm of fishing community. This pier serves as a departure point for local boats, offering an authentic glimpse into traditional livelihoods along Cambodia’s southern coast.
Explore the lively Phsar Leu Market, it offers a wide selection of fresh produce, seafood, meats, and spices, providing an authentic taste of Cambodian food that you can also taste. Stop at the Golden Lions Roundabout is a key landmark. It was built in 1996, features two golden lion statues symbolizing the city’s strength and pride. If time permits, you may go browsing for some drink on your own account?
Drive a bit further to visit the statue of Preah Thong Neang Neak. They are the country's largest copper statue, standing around 27 meters tall. The statue depicts the legendary figures Preah Thong and Neang Neak who are considered the co-founders of the ancient state of Funan.
The last stop at Otres Beach or another beach where you will stroll along its pristine sandy beaches and enjoy swimming and soak in the tropical breeze. You may also enjoy any drink or lunch and water sport activities at your own expense.
