  • Siem Reap

    7:30, depart from your hotel, about 1:30 hour drive to Phnom Kulen.

    9:30-14:00. Phnom Kulen means mountain of lychees, is an isolated chain of small mountains of major symbolic importance for Cambodia as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. The site is one of the national parks—a sanctuary in the area. Actually, it is not just waterfalls and reclining Buddha that it is famous for but also many obscure ruin temples in the jungle, intertwined by nature, art and architecture dating from the early 9th century. Phnom Kulen has been the holiest mountain in Cambodia since ancient times and remains so today.

    Lunch at local restaurant is on your own account. 

    You still enjoy refreshment bath and nature until mid-afternoon,

    14:00-15:30. head back to Siem Reap for relaxing.
