Phnom Penh – Kampot
Breakfast Lunch Dinner
8:00am, with your English-speaking guide, you will be overlanded through the countryside to Kampot (151Km, approx. 3:00 hour drive).
If you are interested, a stop for a short walk-through rice fields and a climb provides a lovely outlook over the surrounding countryside. Then enter Phnom Chhnork limestone cave, home to a small 7th century temple. From the bottom, a 203-step staircase leads up the hillside and down into a cavern as graceful.
Upon arrival at Kampot directly to hotel, you might choose to stroll by the river and observe the French colonial architecture or relax on the veranda of one of the riverside restaurants and admire the view of the Bokor mountains.
Lunch is on your own account.
Early afternoon is free at leisure.
Late afternoon, get on a private standard fishing boat cruising around two hours. Boat anchors and wait maybe for the sun to set over the mountains with a beautiful setting in the middle of the river, here you will enjoy a cool drink provided on board. On the way back, by the riverbank you might be lucky to see the fireflies in the bushes.
Tonight, you have a tasty dinner of fresh seafood-crab, prawns or squid cooked up with Kampot green pepper corn that is famous for will be served to you with the wonderful atmosphere of seaside at night.

Kampot – Kep – Kampot

Now, departure for Kep, it is seaside featuring the old buildings near the ocean front. The town was Cambodia's most popular and prestigious beach town from the early 1900s until the 1960s.
You will drive pass by the Secret Lake-an impressive size of dam built by man-made during the Khmer Rouge. Now, you are ready to get inside a family-owned pepper plantation to see the farming process and taste a raw peppercorn straight from the vine or drying-the different flavor of spicy. Because of its unique soil and weather, the province pepper faming around the world!
It is an option to stop and visit the famous Salt Fields where you discover Cambodia’s traditional sea salt production. Learn how local farmers harvest salt by hand while enjoying the beautiful white landscapes and countryside views.
You will go browsing Crab market wandering through to see the local seafood industry in action. Small sellers & buyers store for the freshest seafood - crabs, fish, calamari and many interesting sites & smells here! Here, you can taste the local food.
Stop and relax at Kep’s beach for your own lunch at local restaurant.
You may enjoy the whole afternoon, it is free at leisure, or you enjoy a walk along the beach at Kep and explore the old buildings near the ocean front or back hotel.
Tonight, you will experience street food around the riverside area where your guide will buy delicious food and fruit for you to taste and a main dish for your dinner. Dishes here may include all the old classics, Cambodian balut, Lort Cha/Mi Cha, fried rice, and Khmer BBQ. There, you will have the opportunity to try unique foods that you should not miss, such as durian, which the province is famous for!
End of the food experience, you will have a tasty dinner of fresh seafood—crab, prawns, or squid cooked up with Kampot green peppercorns that is famous for will be served to you with the wonderful atmosphere of the seaside at night.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Phnom Penh (154Km, approx. 3 hours’ drive), upon arrival, you will be dropped by airport for your departure flight or at your hotel in Phnom Penh. (Remark: Hotel in Phnom Penh is not included).
