• Arrival – Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

  Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), you will meet representative who will collect your passport and proceed with the Fast-Track Immigration Assistance, you will be being guided directly through the facial recognition/priority security lane without having to wait in the regular queue.

  Then you will be warmly welcomed by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your luxury hotel in the heart of the city. (Official check-in time: 14:00)

• Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta

  Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, you visit Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace and headquarters of the former South Vietnamese government. Explore its preserved state rooms, presidential offices and underground command centre, before seeing the historic tanks associated with the events of 30 April 1975. The visit offers insight into Vietnam’s modern history and the end of the Vietnam War.

  You will also explore the historic Chinatown, known for its Chinese heritage, traditional shops and lively streets. Visit Thien Hau Pagoda, a historic Chinese temple dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea, and admire its architecture, ceramic decorations and hanging incense coils while learning about the traditions of the local Chinese-Vietnamese community.

  Lunch will be served at Madame Lam, a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant showcasing traditional flavours through refined presentation. Using fresh local ingredients, the menu offers a modern interpretation of local cuisine in a stylish way.

  Early afternoon is free at leisure or for your own exploration. Should you wish to explore the city's historic landmarks, including the Central Post Office, the former French colonial quarter and the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral, your guide and vehicle can be arranged on request (no extra charge).

  Late afternoon exploring one of Ho Chi Minh City’s hidden gems—Le Cong Kieu Street, also known as Antiques Street. This charming alley is lined with shops selling a fascinating mix of treasures, from Aladdin oil lamps and wooden chests to Marelli copper fans, opium pipes, and abacuses.  

  You may stop at a local restaurant for your dinner or head back to hotel.

• Ho Chi Minh – Hanoi

  After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred with guide to airport for your departure flight for Hanio by VN 208 @ 8:00-10:10.

  Mid-afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university and an important historic site reflecting the country’s long-standing traditions of education and scholarship. Stroll through its peaceful courtyards, traditional gateways and landscaped gardens while discovering the history of Confucian learning and the role the temple has played in Vietnam’s cultural and educational heritage.

  Later in the afternoon, drive to the tranquil West Lake area and visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Hanoi's oldest Buddhist temples. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and, weather permitting, take in the beautiful atmosphere as the sun begins to set.

  This evening, dinner will be served at Madame Hien, nestled in a beautifully restored French colonial villa, the restaurant offers refined Vietnamese cuisine inspired by traditional family recipes. Its elegant interiors, peaceful courtyard and warm ambiance create the perfect setting for a romantic evening in the heart of Hanoi.

• Hanoi – Halong Bay

  After breakfast at hotel, overland to Halong Bay, upon arrival, embark on an elegant overnight journey through the spectacular landscapes of Lan Ha Bay, travelling aboard the luxurious Heritage Line Ginger, an intimate vessel featuring just 12 spacious suites, private balconies, a swimming pool and an elegant glass-enclosed restaurant with an open kitchen.

  After boarding at Tuan Chau Marina, enjoy lunch while cruising deeper into the bay, followed by an excursion to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. Cycle through the peaceful valley surrounded by forested mountains and discover the traditional lifestyle of this remote community before returning to the ship. Later, join a Vietnamese cooking class with the ship's chef before relaxing on board as the vessel anchors amid the tranquil karst scenery.

• Lan Ha Bay – Disembarkation – Hanoi

  Wake early to experience the peaceful beauty of the bay and join a morning wellness activity such as Tai Chi, followed by breakfast on board. Depending on the sailing program, continue with a final excursion or enjoy some relaxed time on deck as the vessel cruises back towards the disembarkation point.

  Return to the cruise for time to freshen up and enjoy a leisurely brunch while sailing back toward the port. 

  After disembarkation, continue your private journey back to Hanoi and drive directly to your hotel.

  Vientiane, the tranquil capital of Laos, is known for its timeless charm and French colonial heritage, blending Buddhist temples, tree-lined boulevards, and riverside serenity along the Mekong.

  Late in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed orientation walk through Wat Ong Teu, one of Vientiane’s historic Buddhist temples, known for its traditional architecture and large bronze Buddha image. As an active place of worship, the temple offers a peaceful glimpse into Laos’ Buddhist traditions and everyday spiritual life.

  Continue to Chao Anouvong Park, and along the Mekong Riverfront, taking in Vientiane’s laid-back character and everyday rhythm as the city prepares for evening.

  Enjoy dinner at Kualao Restaurant, known for its refined presentation of traditional Lao cuisine. Set in a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The music and dance performances offer an enjoyable introduction to the country’s culinary and cultural heritage.

• Vientiane

  After breakfast, begin your morning discovery of Vientiane with a visit to Wat Sisaket, one of the city’s oldest surviving temples, known for its distinctive cloister lined with thousands of Buddha images. 

  Next, visit the COPE Visitor Centre, which provides a thoughtful introduction to the impact of unexploded ordnance on communities in Laos and the ongoing efforts to support people affected by these remnants of war.

  Continue to Vientiane’s best-known landmarks, including That Luang Stupa, the country’s most important national religious monument, and Patuxai Victory Monument, an iconic city landmark inspired by traditional Lao and European architectural influences.

  Lunch is on your own account, with your vehicle and guide at your disposal should you wish to dine at a preferred restaurant or hotel.

  The remainder of the afternoon is free at leisure, allowing you time to relax and enjoy the hotel or explore Vientiane independently.

• Vientiane – Luang Prabang

  After breakfast, transfer to the station with guide for a scenic high-speed train ride (08:00-09:46) through rolling countryside to Luang Prabang. 

  Nestled between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, Luang Prabang is a UNESCO World Heritage town where beautifully Buddhist temples, French colonial architecture and timeless traditions come together. Peaceful streets, vibrant markets and riverside landscapes create an enchanting atmosphere.

  Upon arrival meet your guide and transfer to hotel to relax or explore on your own arrangement.  

  Enjoy lunch at Manda de Laos, an elegant restaurant set around a series of traditional lotus ponds. The restaurant presents refined Lao cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of different regions, using local ingredients and traditional flavours in a sophisticated setting. 

  Early afternoon is free at leisure. 

  Mid-afternoon, you visit the Royal Palace Museum, formerly the residence of the Lao royal family until the monarchy ended in 1975. Explore its well-preserved rooms, royal furnishings and collection of religious and cultural artefacts, offering insight into the history, traditions and royal heritage of Luang Prabang.

  Then make your way to Mount Phousi, Luang Prabang’s sacred hill in the heart of the old town. Climb the 328 steps to the summit, a steady ascent taking approximately 15–20 minutes at a comfortable pace, with time to pause along the way if needed. At the top, visit Wat Chom Si and enjoy panoramic views of the rivers surrounding the historic town. Arrive before sunset to take in the changing light over the town and surrounding hills before descending.

  After breakfast at hotel, it is an option to visit Wat Visoun, one of the oldest and most historically significant temples in Luang Prabang, originally founded in 1512–1513. Explore its traditional Lao architecture before viewing the distinctive That Mak Mo, or “Watermelon Stupa,”.

  You will visit Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief, and Wat Xieng Thong situated on the northern tip of the peninsula that is one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

  Mid-afternoon, embark on a scenic 2-hour upstream cruise along the Mekong River to the mystical Pak Ou Caves, a sacred site where thousands of Buddha figures have been placed by devoted pilgrims over centuries. Wander through the atmospheric caves and admire the spiritual offerings before returning to your boat. As the day draws to a close, relax onboard with a sunset Champagne and canapé experience and dinner on board, watching the golden light shimmer across the river—a perfect blend of culture, serenity, and indulgence.

Upon arrival, you will spend around 1:30-2:00 hours walking through the village to observe local homes, daily activities and traditional handicraft-making, with opportunities to meet residents and browse locally made textiles and small handicrafts. The visit offers a genuine insight into Hmong culture and community life, while purchases of locally made crafts provide direct support to village artisans.

  Continue to Kuang Si Waterfalls, following the cascading limestone terraces through the surrounding forest, where a series of turquoise pools create a beautiful natural setting where you have time to explore the forest trails, re lax by the falls or, if conditions permit, take a refreshing swim in the designated pools. (Please note that appropriate swimwear and modest dress are required when bathing.)

  Enjoy a privately arranged picnic lunch in a peaceful natural setting near the waterfalls, prepared with fresh local ingredients and served in a relaxed outdoor setting.

• Siem Reap – Sunrise at Angkor Wat

  Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see the sunlight rays clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple stunning. Then you will have a refreshing breakfast and coffee before jumping into the discovery of the temple during less visitors.

  Angkor Wat was built in 1113-1150, the structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. It appears to have been both the state temple and mausoleum, dedicating to the god Vishnu, then for Buddhists. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag.

  Return to the hotel for main breakfast and enjoy hotel amenities the rest of the morning and afternoon.

  Your lunch will be served at Lum Orng, a fine dining and the first farm-to-table restaurant in a village on the edge of Siem Reap. The food ingredient comes from seasonal produce from its organic farms and gardens, offering you a wonderful moment during your meal. 

  Return to the hotel to relax early afternoon. 

  Mid-afternoon, you with a guided tour you will wander around Theam's House, a hub for artists where you will see colorful contemporary Khmer artworks in the showroom where you can observe the artists as they create lacquerware paintings, wood and stones sculptures and other unique products of high quality. Enjoy with 60 minutes free flow feather of canapé with soft drink, chilled juices, local beer, and wine which is specially setting up for you amid the garden.

  You may have dinner at Phare café open-air restaurant or a preferred restaurant. 

  This evening, you will be entertained with a special performance of the circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak. It is an NGO that has improved the lives of children and young adults. Inside the campus, you will enjoy a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic young performer. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 pm.)

  6:40am, you will depart early from your hotel and begin your exploration of a Remork Motor by the lady driver. It is the easiest and fun way to look around you on board, aside from supporting women.

  You visit the Khmer Empire capital, Angkor Thom is literally "Great City" which was established in the early 12th century. Enter the capital through South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. Its masterpiece consists of 54 standing towers with four huge smiling faces, and its outer gallery depicting heroic historical tales and Khmer daily life in that civilization.

  Experience the beauty of Angkor complex while enjoying a picnic delicious lunch at Water Wheel Spean Thmor. This stunning site features a large stone bridge. Here your day with a delightful meal, other complements set up right in front of the iconic water wheel and nature. The soothing sounds of flowing water and the fresh air create a serene atmosphere for a perfect moment.  

  Head back to hotel and relax from the early afternoon.

  After breakfast, the day is free at leisure or own explore, until transfer to airport for your departure flight for Phnom Penh by K6 106 @ 1245-1340. (If airline has mid-morning flight, we will book that one)

  Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to hotel. 

  Phnom Penh, founded in 1372 and was known as the "Pearl of Asia" and was considered one of the most beautiful cities built by the French during the colonial period in the region.

  Mid-afternoon, experience Phnom Penh from an extraordinary perspective aboard a 12-minute scenic helicopter flight. Lift off above the capital and admire breathtaking aerial views of the Mekong, Tonlé Sap and Bassac Rivers, the Royal Palace, Koh Pich (Diamond Island), the vibrant Riverside, and the city's modern skyline. This unforgettable flight offers a unique opportunity to capture spectacular photographs while enjoying one of Cambodia's most exclusive sightseeing experiences.

  Late afternoon, enjoy walking tour to explore former French Quarter which evident in the colonial shop-house, Belle Époque and Art Deco houses, public building animating the cityscape. The Quarter lies near Wat Phnom-the birthplace of Phnom Penh on the hill of the city where you will also visit.  Inside the temple, you will experience the Chakkumpi "Khmer fortune teller" manuscript on palm-leaf performed by selecting passages of hazard or luck and drawing from them indications concerning future events—an authentic experience with Khmer belief.

  Dinner be served at Sombok Restaurant, a contemporary Khmer fine dining venue celebrating Cambodia's culinary heritage with a modern touch. Led by Chef Kimsan, who also trained under Michelin-starred Chef Régis Marcon, the restaurant showcases locally sourced ingredients, refined Khmer flavours.

  After breakfast at hotel, you will visit Royal Palace built in 1866, being as the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda house many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

  You will discover Cambodia’s dark history and the horror of Phnom Penh’s past in its city. First head, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. 

  Gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia's dark history at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) and learn how this tragic past continues to influence the country today. During your visit, you may have the rare opportunity to meet a survivor of Tuol Sleng, one of only a handful of people who lived through the prison. Mr. Mey will share his personal story and experiences as a prisoner, offering a deeply moving and human perspective on this difficult chapter of Cambodia's history.
