Overview

Start the journey with a quiet transfer to the Angkor area, where you prepare for a relaxed cycling adventure away from the crowds. Ride through shaded paths toward Angkor Wat, passing calm countryside scenery before arriving at its grand moat, towering spires, and timeless Khmer architecture. Pause by Sras Srang for a peaceful local lunch and rest by the water before continuing the ride through jungle-covered Ta Prohm, where massive tree roots embrace ancient stone. End the route exploring Angkor Thom’s ancient walls and the iconic Bayon temple with its stone faces, surrounded by a powerful sense of history and nature.

  • Siem Reap

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    • 8:00 AM | Hotel Pick-Up & Transfer

    Meet your guide and transfer by vehicle to a quiet starting point near the Angkor area (avoiding busy roads). Bike fitting and safety briefing before starting. 

    • 8:30 AM | Morning Cycling (Approx. 6–8 km)

    Now, you are ready to get in the saddle again for a gentle cycling tour to shady avenues; riding your bikes between them provides us with a unique experience. The highlight of the day is an incredible Angkor Wat with its huge moat, long causeway and massive towers which is the largest temple complex in Asia.  

    • 11:30 AM | Lunch Break

    Regain your energy enjoying your tasty lunch near Sras Srang, the royal pool. Enjoy a spread of great local food followed by a nap lazing in a hammock or explore to see the traditional way of life and say hello to the Cambodians near here. 

    • 2:00 PM | Afternoon Cycling (Approx. 5–7 km)

    Continue cycling to explore the beautiful temple of Ta Prohm. It is overgrown by the massive roots of huge trees and vines making the temple unique. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.''

    Then take a ride along the jungle-surrounded wall of Angkor Thom, the last Khmer empire capital, which is the famous Bayon temple with its 54 towers topped with the four faces of the king. 

    There is an option for continuing cycling to South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving and climbing up Bakheng hill temple for sunset view.

    Remark: The tour does not include Angkor Wat pass; it is on customer own account.
