Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, you will be welcomed by tour leader who will escort you directly to hotel for relaxing. Note: Official check-in time at 14:00 early check-in subject to room available.
Founded in 1372 and capitalized from 1434, Phnom Penh was known as the "Pearl of Asia" and was considered one of the most beautiful cities built by the French during the colonial period in the region. Despite the influence of war and revolution, the city is still famous for its heritage and beautiful architecture.

Around 2:30pm starts your Phnom Penh Mekong tour off with some excitement, as we pick you up by moto-remork (Cambodian tuk tuk) and take a ferry across two mighty rivers Mekong Island. The Island is famous for silk weaving, agriculture and aquaculture, and we will stop to see the silk weavers at work in the village. On the way return back through cruising, you might be lucky to enjoy with the gorgeous sunset view from the lake and watch how Phnom Penh`s popular riverfront comes to life in the early evening, enjoy with a cool drink with wonderful atmosphere.
Disembark, and if you also wish to have orientation walk along the riverside and see the distinctive architecture of Cambodia where Khmer influenced buildings along the riverbank and busiest moments while the locals come to enjoy with fresh air and doing different aerobic or dancing exercise.

This morning, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you by Cyclos for a fun tour of the most significant sights of the city. Three-wheeler Cyclos were introduced to Phnom Penh streets in 1936. The drivers are happy to bring you around for a new experience.
You will climb up to visit Wat Phnom (Mountain Pagoda), which was built in 1372 as the founding place of the city. The pagoda is set on top of a small artificial hill 27 meters height with tree-covered. Inside the temple, you will experience the Chakkumpi "Khmer fortune teller" manuscript on palm-leaf performed by selecting passages of hazard or luck and drawing from them indications concerning future events—an authentic experience with Khmer belief.
Continue to visit Royal Palace built in 1866, being as the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

Then you will discover Cambodia’s dark history and horror of Phnom Penh’s past of its city. First head, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. Then drive outskirts for a visit Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the dark period. After the fall of the dark regime, graves containing about 8,895 bodies were discovered. A grim visit, but it is important site that will allow you to gain insight into Cambodia history.
Spend the rest of balance afternoon browsing through the colorful market at Russian Market, it is the place to shop for discounted brand-name clothing, also the best place in the city for wooden and stoned carvings, jewellery and silk souvenirs.

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

After breakfast at hotel, check-out hotel and travel through the Cambodian countryside towards Siem Reap (313Km, approx. 5:30 hour drive). Stop en route for an optional visit to the Skuon market which is famous for its favorite snack of deep-fried spiders "tarantulas".
The small province but expanding town of Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. This is the most popular destination for travellers in all of Cambodia, perhaps even in South-East Asia.
Afternoon, you take a shady walk along the tall tree-lined avenues and explore the beautiful Ta Prohm temple. The huge roots of giant trees and vines make this temple unique and famous. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.''
Continue to visit visit the last capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom is literally "Great City" which was established in the early 12th century.
Enter the capital through South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. Its masterpiece consists of 54 standing towers with four huge smiling faces, and its outer gallery contains about 11000 bas-reliefs depicting heroic historical tales as well as scenes of Khmer daily life in that civilization.

After dinner at Phare Cafe open-air restaurant, this evening, you will be entertained with a special performance of the Cambodian circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak. PPS meaning "The Brightness of the Arts, it is an NGO that has improved the lives of children, young adults, and their families with art schools, educational programs, and social support so far. Inside the campus, you will enjoy the rotation of a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic troupe of young performers. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 p.m.)

Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see the sunlight rays clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple stunning.
Then you will have a refreshment breakfast and coffee before jumping into the discover the temple during less visitors.
Angkor Wat built in 1113-1150. The structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. It appears to have been both the state temple and mausoleum, dedicating to the god Vishnu, then for Buddhists. The temple is famous for bas-reliefs encircling the temple wall depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the historical wars of the King. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag.

On your adventure tour today, you encounter ziplining like a gibbon from the treetop. After receiving a safety briefing and being outfitted prior to the tour. Now, you start off in a great way with a lot of fun experience zipping over the jungle on 6 zip lines. Begin from the easiest until the highest canopy rappelling down a 50 meters descent. (Note: A max group of 9 pax. Spend on the course 2:00-2:30 hour, max weight 125kg. Tour is not allowed for one’s height below 1 meter, pregnancy, recent post leg’s surgery.)
Afternoon, drive out of Siem Reap about 35km to the countryside to visit Banteay Srei temple, so-called "Citadel of the Women". It was built in 967, and the temple’s most intricate and deep carvings and architectural details in the unique pink-hued sandstone temple well preserve the best of Khmer art.
Stop to see the village vendor stalls along the roadsides where you can taste palm wine and palm sugar chunks wrapped in palm leaves, and you may also try the fresh palm sugar. (Note: It is seasonal local produce.)
Continue to drive passing along the local village where you can see how the rural life. Upon arrive at the lake inlet then get on a private wooden boat from Kampong Phluk’s pier for visit the floating village on Tonle Sap lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, connects to the Mekong river. Tonlé Sap Lake plays as of central importance role for Cambodia's food provision.
On board a cruise slowly through the canal of the village, you will be thrilled at the scenic beauty of a unique and authentic Cambodian village on the lake. A short stop and ride on a rowboat through an impressive flooded forest where you can enjoy paddling beneath shady trees makes you feel breathtaking with its romantic atmosphere. Then the boat drives downstream onto the great lake of Tonle Sap where it offers you a close look at the submerged forest, and a breathtaking view of the seemingly endless water surface.
Note: Kampong Phluk may fully flood between Sep-Nov alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead during low water level.

After breakfast at hotel, you visit Artisan d'Angkor, a complete site of the arts and crafts school will take you through the various training and production workshops. Discover the traditional techniques used for wood sculpting, stone carving, lacquer work, polychrome and stone patina work, with the explanations of a dedicated guide.
Continue to visit Angkor Silk Farm center of Puok where you will discover the various stages involved in Silk production, from mulberry tree orchards to silkworm breeding, the spinning mill and the weaving process.
Enjoy some free time to visit the Old Market is the most tourist-oriented. The riverside market has more souvenir stalls offering a fairly wide range of souvenirs. Next to the side carries items of interest primarily to locals, and also harbors dozens of small food stalls servings various inexpensive local foods that hygienically and gastronomically adventurous visitors may find inviting.

If your departure flight in the evening, in the afternoon, you may visit Preah Khan temple, Neak Pean "The entwined serpents", Ta Som temple or relax at hotel, until appointed time with tour guide transfer to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight.
