  • Arrival - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

    Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, you will be welcomed by tour leader who will escort you directly to hotel for relaxing.  Note: Official check-in time at 14:00 early check-in subject to room available. 

    Phnom Penh was known as the "Pearl of Asia" and was considered one of the most beautiful cities built by the French during the colonial period in the region.

    The rest of balance day is free at leisure and enjoy swimming at hotel pool. 

    Afternoon, you will discover Cambodia’s dark history and horror of Phnom Penh’s past of its city. First head, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. 

    You may go browsing through the colorful market at Russian Market?

    Then drive outskirts for a visit Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the dark period. After the fall of the dark regime, graves containing about 8,895 bodies were discovered.  A grim visit, but it is important site that will allow you to gain insight into Cambodia history.

  • Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

    After breakfast at hotel, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you by Cyclos for a fun tour of the most significant sights of the city. Three-wheeler Cyclos were introduced to Phnom Penh streets in 1936. The drivers are happy to bring you around for a new experience.

    You will climb up to visit Wat Phnom (Mountain Pagoda), which was built in 1372 as the founding place of the city. The pagoda is set on top of a small artificial hill 27 meters height with tree-covered. Inside the temple, you will experience the Chakkumpi "Khmer fortune teller" manuscript on palm-leaf.

    Then you visit Royal Palace built in 1866, being as the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

    Head back hotel or stop at restaurant for your own lunch.

    Then, you will be transferred to Phnom Penh airport for your departure flight for Siem Reap by K6107 @13:30-14:25. (Flight quotes separately). 

    The small province but expanding town of Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. This is the most popular destination for travellers in all of Cambodia, perhaps even in South-East Asia.

    Upon arrival, meet with your driver only and transfer to hotel for check-in.  The balance day is free at leisure. 

    This evening, you may explore Old Market is the most tourist-oriented. The riverside market has more souvenir stalls offering a fairly wide range of souvenirs and various inexpensive local foods.

  • Siem Reap

    Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see the sunlight rays clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple stunning.  

    Head back hotel for breakfast and refreshment.

    You will visit the last capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom is literally "Great City" which was established in the early 12th century. Enter the capital through South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. Its masterpiece consists of 54 standing towers with four huge smiling faces, and its outer gallery contains about 11000 bas-reliefs depicting heroic historical tales as well as scenes of Khmer daily life in that civilization.

    You take a shady walk along the tall tree-lined avenues and explore the beautiful Ta Prohm temple. The huge roots of giant trees and vines make this temple unique and famous. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.''

    You may also visit other temples at the Angkor complex without extra charge for temple pass.

    Afternoon, you will discover Angkor Wat built in 1113-1150. The structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. It appears to have been both the state temple and mausoleum, dedicating to the god Vishnu, then for Buddhists. The temple is famous for bas-reliefs encircling the temple wall depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the historical wars of the King. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag.

  • Siem Reap

    After breakfast at hotel, a short drive from the town and passing along the local village where you can see how the rural life. Upon arrive at the lake inlet then get on a private wooden boat from Kampong Phluk’s pier for visit the floating village on Tonle Sap lake.

    On board a cruise slowly through the canal of the village, you will be thrilled at the scenic beauty of a unique and authentic Cambodian village on the lake. A short stop and ride on a rowboat through an impressive flooded forest where you can enjoy paddling beneath shady trees makes you feel breathtaking with its romantic atmosphere. Then the boat drives downstream onto the great lake of Tonle Sap where it offers you a close look at the submerged forest, and a breathtaking view of the seemingly endless water surface.

    Note: Kampong Phluk may fully flood between Sep-Nov alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead during low water level.

    Afternoon, you visit Artisan d'Angkor, a complete site of the arts and crafts school will take you through the various training and production workshops. Discover the traditional techniques used for wood sculpting, stone carving, lacquer work, polychrome and stone patina work, with the explanations of a dedicated guide. 

    Continue to Angkor Silk Farm center of Puok?  Where you will discover the various stages involved in Silk production, from mulberry tree orchards to silkworm breeding, the spinning mill and the weaving process.

    Stop to visit a historical significance of Wat Bo pagoda is among the oldest Buddhist temples in Siem Reap. It played an essential role in Cambodia’s spiritual and cultural preservation. If you are lucky to see 19th-century frescoes depicting the Reamker (Khmer version of the Ramayana).
