It is worth to visit this remote small community. The temple here is a top candidate for World Heritage Status, with the ruins here is similarly to the famous Bayon with their face towers, and surrounded by an impressive 9 kilometers long wall.

Battambang is the second-largest city, a tranquil riverside town and a small body of water. It is home to some of the best-preserved French colonial architecture in the country.

Afternoon, you spend about an hour wandering around Phare Ponleu Selpak, literally "the Brightness of the Arts". It is a non-profit association, started in 1994 by a young group returning from refugee camps during the Cambodian civil war. The centre, you will see students who are training in the classes on subjects like acrobatics, music and a variety of art disciplines. Don’t miss out on art galleries and cultural space.

This evening, you may enjoy street tour for tasting local dishes such as Khmer curry with noodles, fried or grilled spicy chicken and any drink are available in a string of pavement stalls. It is fun and cheap, yet real experience with real nightlife of the locals. (Any consumptions are on your own account).

Mid-afternoon, head to Phnom Sampov, meaning "Ship Hill", because its peculiar shape reminds us of a ship where you are ready to start an uphill walk on 700 steps. On the hilltop itself, a pagoda used to be a torture center during the Khmer Rouge, yet it gives you a breathtaking view of the surrounding lush countryside and a few hills standing out with their legendary. An interesting natural cave where you will hike inside to see a full wall of uprooted stones in different shapes. Ending at dusk, you get ready for a fabulous show of nature as millions of bats exit the caves, creating patterns as they fly in tandem in the sky—a unique experience of nature!
