  • Arrival - Siem Reap, Cambodia

    Sua s'dei! Welcome to Cambodia. (IATA Siem Reap–Angkor Int’l Airport Code: SAI)  

    Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport by flight, you will be welcomed by local English-speaking guide who will escort you directly to hotel for relaxing.    Note: Official check-in time at 2:00pm.

    Siem Reap is the gateway to the world’s most spectacular ancient temples dating from 8th-13th centuries with their countless sculptured decorations. 

    Late afternoon, stop at a looming large building on the roadside where you will get inside to discover Angkor National Museum, a state of the art showpiece on the Khmer civilization. Before visiting ancient temples, it is a very helpful experience for visitors to put the history of Angkor and the Khmer kingdom in context.

    Your welcome dinner will be served at Lum Orng, a fine dining and the first farm-to-table restaurant in a village on the edge of Siem Reap. The food ingredient comes from seasonal produce from its organic farms and gardens, offering you a wonderful moment during your meal.

    This morning, tee-off at Phokeethra Country Club which was the first true international standard golf course to open in Cambodia in 2007. Sweeping fairways and generous greens giving you with its distinctive feel with the water hazards beautifying the yards course. Play a round of 18 holes at this world class course which is designed to a championship standard this impressive layout will test your strategic skills to the full. Return to your hotel where you can relax around midday.

    Lunch is on your own account. 

    Mid-afternoon, you visit the last capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom is literally "Great City" which was established in the early 12th century. Enter the capital through South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. Its masterpiece consists of 54 standing towers with four huge smiling faces, and its outer gallery contains about 11000 bas-reliefs depicting heroic historical tales as well as scenes of Khmer daily life in that civilization.

    Late in the afternoon, you get on a charming gondola boat and ride along the calm moat of the Angkor Thom wall. Stop off and climb up to temple Prasat Chrung to enjoy a breathtaking sunset view and the romantic atmosphere of the site. While you enjoy paddling slowly along the moat, champagne, canapés and soft drinks will be prepared on board.

    Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise at Angkor Wat, you might be lucky to see the sunlight rays clear for a dawn display of color over the towers, making the view towards the temple stunning. Then you will have a refreshment fruit and coffee before jumping into the discovery of the temple during less visitors.

    The temple was built in 1113-1150. The structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. The temple is famous for bas-reliefs encircling the temple wall depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the historical wars of the King. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag. 

    Return to the hotel for your breakfast and enjoy hotel amenities the rest of the morning & balance day.

    Optional cocktail at Theam’s House:

    Mid-afternoon, you wander around Theam's House, a hub for artists where you will see colorful contemporary Khmer artworks in the showroom with unique products of high quality. Enjoy with 60 minutes free flow feather of canapé with soft drink, chilled juices, local beer, and wine which is specially setting up for you amid the garden.

    Early afternoon is free at leisure. 

    Late afternoon, you visit the incredible work of APOPO and their HeroRATs on this engaging short tour about 45 mins tour. You learn how these intelligent and highly trained African giant pouched rats detect landmines and save lives in Cambodia and beyond. (Note: The center opens daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The last tour begins at 4:30 PM, it closes on public holiday).

    You may have dinner at Phare café restaurant. 

    This evening, you will be entertained with a special performance of the Cambodian circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak. Inside the campus, you will enjoy the rotation of a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic troupe of young performers. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 p.m.)

    After breakfast at hotel, if you are looking for a professional, well-maintained, and challenging experience, this morning, tee-off at Angkor Golf Resort opened in January 2008. It is without doubt the finest golf course in Cambodia, and any keen golfer visiting Siem Reap should play at least one round here. All year round this course is presented in immaculate condition. The tees, fairways and greens are maintained to a high standard where you play around 18 holes at course. (Note: If you still prefer Phokeethra Country Club, let us know upon booking).

    Head back to hotel for relaxing and your own lunch.

    Afternoon begins your exploration of a Remork Motor by the lady driver. It is the easiest and fun way to look around you on board, aside from supporting women. 

    You will walk inside a Buddhist pagoda where you will experience a blessing ceremony. The monk will pray, wishing you happiness, good luck, and prosperity—a truly memorable moment!

    You will take a shady walk to explore the beautiful Ta Prohm temple, the huge roots of giant trees and vines make this temple unique and famous. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider''.

    Heading back to hotel for refreshing. 

    Late afternoon, you experience the magic of Cambodia’s countryside with an unforgettable evening. Sip on a handcrafted sunset cocktail overlooking rice field. As the sun dips below the horizon, indulge in a romantic dinner under the stars, surrounded by the serene beauty of rural landscapes. The special movements offer the perfect blend of luxury and nature, making this a truly enchanting escape.
